Welcome to the website of Glasgow Airway Skills Lab.

For several years, we have been running successful one-day hands-on workshops in Glasgow. The course is aimed at all grades of anaesthetists who have mastered basic airway skills. The course covers fibreoptics and rescue techniques based on the Difficult Airway Society guidelines for airway management.  The course contents evolve to current best practice and guidelines, and has been mapped to the CPD matrix of the Royal College of Anaesthetists. The College has previously approved CPD points for attending this course.

This site has been designed to complement our advanced airway management and rescue techniques courses.

Our faculty includes consultant anaesthetists with skills and experience in airway management for head and neck surgery, and other high risk general surgical and critically unwell patients.
